Paytm team had visited the beautiful and picturesque Timber trail on the weekend of July 23-24th.The team left for the destination on Friday night reaching
Tiber Trail on the wee hours of Saturday, 23rd July.
The resort is spread over an area of 1.6 acres with breathtaking views of the area and the hills and valley around. Everyone who was tired out after the long journey, they were instantly refreshed once they reached their desitnation. The rooms were at the top of the hill, and the only way to reach them was by a cable car. Every room had a panaromic view of the Parwano valley.
Both the days were spent immersed in the lap of Mother Nature. Everyone spent the days in the amusement park, played sports in the sports complex and many just relaxed in the spacious greenery, surrounded by mountains and cool mountain air. The food was another attraction here. The sumptuous delicacies were enjoyed by all.
It was indeed the perfect getaway for the team who wanted to unwind and have a relaxing getaway from the hustle & bustle of city life.
On Friday, July 8th, 14 free-spirited people from Scripts, Studio and Recording teams left for a trip to Mussoorie. After a few hours stay in Haridwar on
Saturday, July 9th, the teams proceeded towards their destination, which was the hilly and chilly hill-station of Mussoorie.
The splendor of this place gripped everyone and they happily spent the whole day of Saturday roaming around the mall road, taking pictures and generally having fun.
On Sunday, they stopped over at ‘Guccu Pani’ – which is a little before Dehradun – an adventurous place full of caves and rocks. The best part was, a few brave souls attempted to cross the caves and climb the rocks to come out onto the other side, all the time wading through chilly water. Only a few successfully completed this adventurous mission.
The wonderful and memorable trip ended happily on Sunday night when the whole gang returned with their spirits rejuvenated!
The day started with the excitement and buzz in the air as everyone was looking forward to the Summer Carnival, on Friday, July 1st. This carnival was
different than any other One97 has had so far, as we’ve never had a townhall + summer carnival planned in an amusement park before. This was the twist
in the tale and everyone was really looking forward to the events to unfold that day.
The celebrations started off with the townhall, which though started a little late than planned, however soon took off with Vijay, in his inimitable style, had the audience in splits. Then moving on to serious things, the plans for One97 was discussed in detail.
The tempo by now was on an all time high. Once the town hall ended, the crowd rushed to enjoy the numerous rides that were there in Worlds of Wonder Amusement Park, which is one of the largest in Asia. For more than 2 hours, everyone’s brain was buzzing and eyes popping out as they tried one ride after the other. The laughter was infectious and the excitement was palpable.
Overall, it was an evening to remember for a long long time. Kudos to all those who had made this possible and ensure everyone had the time of their life
With the temperature soaring in Delhi, the effervescent team of New Operator Team (Videocon, MTS and HFCL) decided to cool off and party in style
in the elite ‘Ice Lounge’ in Saket, which is Delhi’s only authentic Ice Bar, on Friday, June 17th. Surrounded by more than 30 tonnes of crystal
clear ice, it wouldn’t be too far from the truth that the smiles were ‘frozen’ on the team’s faces!
Everyone enjoyed partying the night away in Ski Jackets, Gloves and Moon Boots as the temperature in the bar is maintained at -10 degrees. Everything from food, to drinks, to music, was simply out of this world and no one was ready to go back home.
The New Operator Team had a very memorable experience
Away from the hustle and bustle of the daily routine, the Chennai team started from Chennai by AC Volvo on Friday June 3rd to Ooty,
the queen of hill stations. It was thrilling fun on driving those curves and steep dark hairpin curves. As the climb got steep, the temperature
was dripping down with a drizzle and clouds that makes the driver screen foggy. Hotel was good at the center of Ooty overlooking misty tea gardens
in the morning and diamonds in the sky (stars) at night.
The next morning after breakfast, everyone set off on foot for botanical gardens and were suitably impressed by the array of flora especially the tree ferns growing wild along the way. And in the evening, Ooty lake was visited and some boating was done as well. There was scrumptious dinner served that night - the night which was the coldest of the season – freezing……… The next day, everyone visited Doddabetta Peak, which is the highest point of Nilgiris hills where the entire town can be seen down below, which was the highlight of the trip. Another spot which was immensely enjoyable was the tea factory. It was a good learning experience about the team making process.
Birthday Bash was held in Noida office in the cafeteria on Friday, June3rd. All those born in May were wished with smearing of cake on their faces.
1) Dummy Mummy – team of 3 members had to wrap one of them with paper the first ones to b e done won! The winners were Kavita Choudhary & Deepika Majumdar
2) Balloon Game – balancing one balloon between three people (on their heads) and moving about. Whosoever’s balloon was intact, won. The winners were Ahtesham, Javed, & Virender Chawla
At the end of the day, the everyone enjoyed eating cake and other goodies.
