Sometime this week we crossed the million user mark. Yes, 1 million of you, dus lakh, 1000000, six zeroes!!! The actually number is a tad more than that but I am sure you get the drift . We think this is total Kolaveri di. Facebook took about an year to reach their first million users and so you’d understand why we’re just plain ecstatic to have come this far!

This post is dedicated to all of you who have chosen our service Paytm and provided us an opportunity to earn your trust.

We’ve come a long way since we launched six months ago; the site has undergone a couple of redesigns, added coupons, mobile apps, Paytm Cash and a 24×7 customer care team. Above all though, we’ve learnt to do one job increasingly better as each day passes – to earn your trust.

It has been hard but rewarding work. Our team calls some of you every now and then to check if the transaction went okay; We scour around the web looking for those of you who’ve had a less than ideal experience with us and try to make it right; When our servers sometimes misbehave in the middle of the night, we take less than a minute to bring them back up. And then there are times when things that we don’t control go wrong – we promptly refund you your money in those cases, limited only by the laws of physics and our civic society and nothing else.
